James Colella
I am the founder of Tutoring4Teens and have created it to provide an opportunity towards helping students on Long Island to achieve academic success in areas where they may struggle. I specialize in tutoring classes such as regents Chemistry (94 on the regents and currently studying AP Chemistry), regents Earth Science (98 on regents), AP US History (5 on the AP), Algebra 1 and 2 (97 on Algebra 2 regents), and Geometry (97 on regents) just to name a few.
Marissa Paredes
Marissa is a motivated, involved, and kind person who has always had a connection and love for music, English and Spanish. She can tutor any level of Spanish (100 on Spanish II final, 100 on Spanish III final, and 99 on Spanish IV final) as well as any level of English (9-12; received 100 on English 9 midterm and final) and AP Lang (5 on the AP). Marissa's love for history is reflected by her ability to additionally tutor AP US History or regents US history (5 on AP). Her 5 in AP Research also proves Marissa to be well-versed in the field of research. Finally, she excels in the subject area of Government and Politics.
Wafa Siddiqui
Wafa is an extremely hardworking and considerate student who has a passion for helping others specifically in the fields of history and English. She can teach any English class (9-12) and can tutor Global History 1 and 2 or AP World (97 on Global 1 regents and 4 on AP World) as well as AP US History (5 on AP). In addition, psychology is a passion of hers which is why she is the perfect candidate for tutoring college level psychology or AP Psychology (4 on the AP). Finally, her 5 on AP Seminar proves useful for students looking for research help in either a Capstone class or a research elective.
Vincent McCormack
Vincent is an exceptionally intelligent student with a natural knack for science and mathematics. He can tutor college or AP Physics 1 (5 on the AP), Precalculus (99 on final), Italian as well as any lower-level mathematics courses such as Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry. Furthermore, with his 1490 on the SAT, he is fully capable of SAT prep for those students preparing themselves for college. Vincent has also taken 4 years of research and has developed superb projects across the years for those in need of research help.
